Sutter County SELPA fiscal Advisory committee
The Sutter County Fiscal Advisory Committee is composed of two representatives, one fiscal and one special education program staff, from the following:
- Sutter County Superintendent of Schools
- Live Oak Unified School District
- Twin Rivers Charter School
- Yuba City Unified School District
- AeroSTEM Academy
- Two representatives from West County Non-Provider Districts (Brittan Elementary, Franklin Elementary, Meridian Elementary, Nuestro Elementary, and Winship-Robbins Elementary)
- Two representatives from South County Non-Provider Districts (Browns Elementary, East Nicolaus High School, Pleasant Grove Joint Unified School District, and Marcum-Illinois Union School District)
The Fiscal Advisory Committee works collaboratively with the Assistant Superintendent, SELPA who chairs the meetings, develops the agenda, and generates minutes. Recommendations are communicated to the Operations Council and forwarded to the Superintendent's Coordinating Council for approval. The committee develops and reviews the funding allocation plan, which delineates the distribution of state and federal revenue to the LEAs and the SELPA office.
